This two-day skill-building class is designed to give you greater confidence and clarity when working with commercial or indie sewing patterns.
Day One focuses on understanding essential sewing vocabulary, common construction steps, and key techniques used in garment patterns. You’ll work with miniature pattern pieces to explore simple pattern alterations in a clear, approachable way — helping you better understand how patterns come together and how small adjustments can improve fit and finish.
Day Two is dedicated to exploring a variety of seam finishes specifically for woven fabrics. This hands-on session will allow you to sample and compare different finishing techniques, creating reference examples you can keep for future projects.
