I wanted to use the “fancy” stitches on my sewing machine and this mod squiggle stitch worked really well for quilting. I went with a hot pink thread to emphasize the colour palette I wanted to use for the mushroom applique. I focused on crafting this vest with lots of care which lead me to hand sew the linen binding down. The whole vest was created with linen scraps and remnants.
